Southern Service Engineer
An opportunity has arisen through an internal promotion, to join our Company as a Field Service Engineer covering the Southern UK territory.
PPM is a small, friendly UK manufacturing company which also distributes for a number of international manufacturers. We specialise in the supply of water quality instrumentation and a number of our customers require service support (planned and emergency cover). Our instrumentation is sold throughout the UK to water companies and also to various industrial users that include large reputable organisations within the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, food and beverage sectors.
Whilst some international travel may arise, predominantly the role is UK based. Our head office is located in Borough Green Kent, where attendance may also be required.The ideal candidate will be centrally located around the Berkshire area or willing to relocate to minimise travelling. The current territory includes clients in East Anglia, Home Counties and the South West of England - so the candidate should expect to have to periodically stay away from home and travel accordingly. A fully expensed car is provided as part of the competitive package which also includes a contributory Company Pension scheme and an end of year profit related bonus. Ideally, you should have some electronics or electrical experience within a similar role although full product training (on-site and office based) in all aspects of operational, service repair and application of the instrumentation, will be provided to the successful candidate. Qualification to A level or HNC would be preferential. A full clean driving license will be required.
