What is Chlorine measurement?

Chlorine measurement is an important water quality parameter used predominantly for the measurement and process control of drinking water chlorination processes. The testing of water for free, residual and total chlorine may be performed using field portable / laboratory test kits or continuously on-line using amperometric or colorimetric instrumentation.

The HF CLX on-line instrument measures either free or total chlorine, using a recognised DPD colorimetric analysis. The user may select an interval of time (from 110 seconds) to suit the application. Different instrument configurations cover different measurement ranges, within 0-15.0mg/L. The measurement range may be extended for industrial applications by the integration of external dilution.
