Pollution and Process Monitoring - PPM is a specialist manufacturer of water and waste-water quality instrumentation.
Our manufactured products include instrumentation suitable for on-line and laboratory analysis.
The range of on-line TOC analysers known by their trade name PROTOC® continuously measure water quality for organic
contamination and are supported by a number of innovative sample preparation techniques. A laboratory system called
Labtoc® is also available for discrete sample analysis.
One of the models, the Protoc® 300 has been certified to meet the requirements of MCERTS (certificate SIRA MA 060077/00)
which may be specified for industry operating under IPPC permits.
ProAm is a process instrument designed for either continuous or intermittent analysis of ammoniacal-nitrogen and uses an
ion selective (gas sensing) technique. Typically its design allows measurement without sample preparation, simplifying
the monitoring system. Other parameters may also be configured at the time of supply which include Nitrate, Chloride and
Fluoride.
The Terminator system is used to automatically contain spillages in the drainage system to prevent contaminated surface
water affecting local water courses. The control system which regulates the inflation of a bladder (placed within a drain)
may be initiated by instrumentation measuring water quality, via a BMS telemetry system, by a fire alarm or manually from
the control panel.
