NTU - Turbidity

Turbidity is the physical characterisation of water quality. The parameter is used in-line as a continuous measurement indicating the amount of suspended solids in a sample. Different technologies are used for the monitoring of drinking water and final effluent streams. Suspended solids concentrations may also be monitored within activated sludge treatment processes.
