Total Nitrogen determination by summation of the nitrogen bound
in Ammonium, Nitrate and Nitrite can be used within sewage treatment
to analyse the de-nitrification treatment process. It is particularly
important for sites that need to remove ammoniacal and nitrate-nitrogen.
