Mainstream 111
Ultrasonic Area-Velocity Flowmeter

The Manistream 111 Flowmeter is suitable for measuring the fluid flow in open channels and pipes. It is simple to install and operate. It does not typically require installation of a flume resulting in significantly lower installation costs.

DESCIPTION
The Mainstream 111 Flowmeter comprises a controller with LCD display, an ultrasonic submersible sensor used to measure speed and a pressure transducer used to report the head of water. By calculating the filled area in a pipe or channel and the speed of the liquid transfer it is possible to accurately report the flow rate. The sample must however contain suspended solids or air bubbles.

DATA LOGGING WITH SOFTWARE
The controller can be programmed to data record the flow rate at a pre-selectable interval form 30 seconds to 60 minutes. The memory is sufficient for 250,000 measurements, which corresponds to 6 months of data at a 2-minute interval. PC Windows compatible software is included allowing simple data retrieval and also configuration of the system including channel profiling.

CONTROL & TELEMETRY OUTPUTS
Four opto-isolated analogue4-20mA outputs are provided along with two programmable relays configurable for utility, limit or pulsed outputs. Optional modem connection with Internet connectivity is also featured.
